2000 was 2 yrs ago, Finley is at the end of the line, 40 year old pitchers do not get better they get older. Time to go with a youthful starting five, I would rather see Drew or Westbrook or Jason Stanford get lit up than an over paid has been like Finley.

srg, be it 38, or 39, Finley and Moyer are the same age...
Finley came back from an injury, if he is healthy, we will be a decent number 3,4,or 5 starter on our team.

Moyer is the same pitcher he has always been, a finnese lefty that gets hitters out by keeping them off balance, Finley is a former power pitcher who can't pitch that way any longer. He deffinetely can't pitch the way Moyer does. Finley at best is a number five starter that gets paid like a 1-3 starter .

Jamie Moyer is BETTER than he ever was before age 35. Finley is NOT 40 and if injury free can still be an effective #3 starter.

Finley is a washed-up stiff. If he had any decency and self-respect he'd retire and save us his bloated salary.

nice to see SRG and The Genius are as loving as ever!! hehe
Can he win 15? i doubt it, but 12 or so and a couple hundred ininnings? ya, and i don't think westebrook/drew can match that.
Like was mentioned, his style is not moyer's, he will not be getting better as he gets smarter. But he is still putting the MPH on the ball, should be able to milk another year out of him.
Keep him to round out roatation, (colon, CC, Beaz, Drese and Finster!)

Hiya, Sammy!
Just for you, I'll ask my good friend Cholly to keep Finley in there.

Does Finley want to spend his last year here in Cleveland?

Finley will not make it throught the season. He is done, which opens the door for other Indians "prospects" to get shelled daily next season.

Best case scenario is he gets off to a reasonably good start; then we peddle him to Boston for 2 20 year olds.
